Hace tiempo que sigo a Xoel López el alma mater de Deluxe (y único componente oficial). Este personaje modesto de la escena musical nacional que tiene dos peculiaridades:
- No sabe nadar y es gallego (como si tuviera algo que ver. Este Apnea tiene unas cosas)
- Es uno de los mejores compositores del momento.

No hay un decálogo de cómo se debe hacer una versión de una canción conocida, pero desde luego lo que no se debe hacer en ningún caso es no aportar nada de uno mismo en la composición de otros. Es decir nunca hacer lo que Mikel Erentxu hizo con la canción de los Smith.

Llevaba tiempo buscando como un desesperado esta canción, cuando de repente volví a encontrarme con ella en un jodido anuncio de cocinas. No podía más, necesitaba escucharla cuando quisiera y no esperar a que ese anunció apareciera otra vez. Me acordaba de hacia años haberla visto en una película de universitarios (“Desmadre a la Americana”) y me puse a buscar:
